Our Pre-School welcomes children from around the age of 3 to 6 years, a stage often referred to as the “absorbent mind” period in Montessori.
At this age, children are naturally curious and eager to explore the world around them.
With a strong focus on “learning by doing,” our programme nurtures independence, self-confidence, and a lifelong love of learning. Each child is guided through a three-year curriculum designed to meet their developmental needs while encouraging exploration and discovery across all areas of learning:
Practical Life
Children develop organisation, focus, and independence through meaningful activities such as caring for themselves, their environment, and engaging in exercises of grace, courtesy, and coordinated movement.
Sensorial Development
Using hands-on materials, children refine their senses by learning to classify, compare, and describe impressions such as length, width, temperature, weight, colour, texture, and sound.
Mathematics
Specialised Montessori materials enable children to internalise concepts of number, quantity, sequence, and basic operations, providing a solid foundation for abstract thinking.
Language
Early literacy is nurtured through multisensory tools such as sandpaper letters, alphabet cut-outs, and phonetic activities. This approach helps children connect sounds to symbols, building towards reading, writing, and expressive communication.
Cultural Studies
The child is introduced to geography, history, life sciences, art, music, and movement - broadening their understanding of the world and fostering creativity and cultural awareness.

Why Montessori?
Montessori is more than an educational method - it’s a way of helping children grow into confident, independent, and compassionate individuals. Rooted in over a century of research and practice, the Montessori approach recognises that children learn best when they are free to explore, move, and discover at their own pace.
In a carefully prepared environment, children engage with hands-on materials and purposeful activities that spark curiosity and deepen understanding. Whether it’s pouring water, building with number rods, or exploring cultural studies, every experience is designed to nurture concentration, independence, and joy in learning.
Just as importantly, Montessori values the whole child - their intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development. Children learn respect for themselves, for others, and for their environment, building strong foundations for both academic success and life beyond the classroom.
Montessori education empowers children not only to master knowledge, but to develop the creativity, resilience, and empathy they need to thrive in an ever-changing world.
